Speakers

Sandra Yazbeck
Sandra is a professional certified coach specialized in youth coaching as well as neurosciences in coaching. Her passion for teaching, and training, naturally enhanced her talent in youth coaching. With extensive experience in teaching in varied international contexts, she specialized in the training of trainers in world languages as well as in multilingual schoolbooks publishing. Sandra is passionate about personal development, especially with the youth struggling with constant changes in education and in the world in general. She also accompanies her clients through life transitions and career moves. An extensive corporate experience as a team leader gave her the tools to accompany the middle management employees towards a better work-life balance, conflict resolution, impostor syndrome and management styles.
Michael Iannini
Michael is ACAMIS's Leadership Development Facilitator, a Search Associates Partner supporting it’s members in China to improve Recruitment, Induction and Retention of Foreign Teachers, and an affiliated Council of International School’s (CIS) consultant with the following areas of expertise: Appraisal and Professional Development, Leadership Training, School Governance and Strategic Planning. His journey in education began 26 years ago as a research assistant at Arizona State University’s Child Development Laboratory, where he was an early years educator and researcher. Since moving to China in 1999, originally as an Early Years Teacher, Michael has advised and trained the Boards and Leadership of hundreds of International Schools across Asia. Michael is author of Hidden in Plain Site: Realizing the Full Potential of Middle Leaders. Since writing this book he launched www.middleleader.com.
Barbara Mui
Barbara is a Secondary School English teacher and Grade-Level-Leader at The Independent Schools Foundation Academy in Hong Kong and an International Baccalaureate (IB) examiner. Since graduating with a Master of Science in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL) from Fordham University Graduate School of Education in 2005, she has worked in primary, secondary and higher education institutions. She has 18 years of teaching experience in the United States of America and China and has experience in leading professional development workshops in the area of Language Acquisition. Barbara Mui co-created the MiniPD course on Positive Behaviour and Relationship Management in International Schools with Michael Iannini.
